Best Camping at Red River Gorge for a dog that's afraid of other dogs...

Hey Everyone,

My fiance and I are on a road trip and while traveling we picked up an abandoned dog. We've had her checked out and she's clean but she's also afraid of other dogs (as in she doesn't go after them but when she goes to greet them she gets scared, growls and sometimes snaps at them).

We were planning to stop at the RRG for a day on the way back home but are afraid that all of the off leash dogs at Miguel's will frighten her and that she will get herself in to trouble. We've made great progress with her in the last three days and don't want a bunch of dogs with good intentions confirming her fears.

Any suggestions for dog friendly campgrounds that require dogs to be on leash (and people actually listen)?

Thanks!

Lago Linda's Hideaway is very quiet and in the 5 nights I stayed there, I can't remember seeing more than a dog or two. If she is well behaved, Linda is cool with her staying there. have fun!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
