Berthoud Cave Suggest change

This is located up above the Buddha Cave and Buddha Boulder. This is a sunny spot and offers some of the longest horizontal roof climbing in the Front Range. Most parties get to jugs at the lip of the cave and jump back down to the pads. Add a V grade if you top it out, however.

FAs are unclear on most of these. There are lots of low starts and different variations on problems. Feel free to chime in with any known FAs.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the Lake Gulch trail from the east entrance of Castlewood Canyon. Once you cross the creek head to the right (east) for about 200 yards and look for a slab on your left hand side. There is a faint little trail heading directly up to the Buddha Cave area. The left hand turn is probably 100 yards before the trailside boulder which is a very noticeable feature.
