DescriptionThis is a solitary boulder located in a pretty little meadow just off the highway. It is a great place to stop and have lunch and do a little pebble wrestlin'. Show up at the right time and the meadow will be full of strawberries. Getting ThereIt is located approximately 1/2 way up or down Wolf Creek Pass from either direction on FS Road 39. Drive down from the highway. At about a 1/2 mile, the road starts to head uphill with a sweeping right turn. Just through this turn come into a meadow. The boulder is down on the right. It doesn't look like much from road. Pull off and enjoy. It is a 30 second approach.
