Behind The Tree post crux


Start on the north side of the buttress and climb up the path of least resistance. The crux is up high in the dihedral/wide crack before topping out. The tree is gone.


The farthest north (climber's right) route on Yellow Lichen.


Standard TR set up, large gear helpful (2-4").

Standard rack and a 3 or 4 inch cam for the crux section if leading (consider using passive pro here if you think a fall on a cam would pry off the giant piece of rock.)
