Okay, so I read the "how to attract a trad mentor" string and I am sad to report that I am not a young, attractive female. That said, this is southern California, so I suppose I could cross dress, but as evidenced by a BAD Halloween costume a few years back, no one wants to see that. I will buy the inebriates before, during or after and will even be the driver. Most importantly, I want to learn the sport. This is a sport that will test my mental and physical limits and I am ready to pay my dues.

Anyway, if someone is willing to take out a newbie in SoCal, please let me know.
