Left facing corner, low angle with plenty of dirt on the bottom ledges. A quick climb. Medium gear to anchors. Rap the route. Last climb on the wall above the fork in the trail.

A walk-up to a slick section which isn't fun and then average climbing to the top. Don't understand my partner's enthusiasm for this route. Clean and takes pro well, but nothing special.

If you are an experienced climber then yes I agree, nothing special. BUT, if you're a beginner (i.e.: less than a dozen trad leads or so), this is an ideal route. Great gear with gradually increasing difficulty is just what the beginner leader needs. Requires smearing and jamming all the while placing gear. Useful skills for any burgeoning trad leader...hence the route name.
