Description

Route climbs the left side of the steep slabby face seen in the photo. A few tough pulls off the deck lead to more moderate climbing.

Location

See photo. Scramble up to climber's right to access the anchors.

Protection

TR from 3 bolt anchor (2 are open shuts).

This is a fun route with a couple good pulls off thin holds and bad feet. The left anchor hanger is cracking and there is a sizable gap between the rock and the bolt head. I think there is a third route (5.8?) on this face to the left of Beefmaster that climbs over a big, deep hueco.

As DavidJr mentioned, the left open shut is cracked on top and very loose.

I also agree with the extra route on the left involving the hueco, and with the 5.8 rating for it. Decently cool slab climbing, and a good warm-up/cooldown for Beefmaster 3000.
