Description Suggest change

This is an organizational entry designed to clarify this Tyndall Gorge section. Hopefully, this will help.

This sub-section of Tyndall Gorge is probably not worth much to the dedicated ice climber. Although there are a handful of climbs here, most are short, obscure, and/or sketchy to lead. Nonetheless, since we can't mix areas & routes, here is a subarea for Bear Lake.

We will have the Bear's Den separately.

There is a mixed area (Bear's Den) nearby developed by Eli Helmuth, et al.

Getting There Suggest change

Once in the eastern side of RMNP, drive up the Bear Lake Rd to its end. Occasionally, the road will be closed due to snow clearing activities, but these are typically not long in duration.
