Description
Well worth a visit, good routes, great setting. After Dildome you pass Tombstone with 2 routes, and in another 15 min. you come to Bear Cave. 30-40 min. from Highway 2.
Getting There
Same approach as for Dildome. Across the road from the foot bridge over the Wenatche River. A pullout upriver from the beach with bridge on the east side of route 2, small cairn at south end of parking, good trail. If you don’t find a good trail keep looking you don’t want to bushwhack this slope.
