Beal Ice Line or Edelweiss Oxygen 2?

Trying to decide which one to buy for alpine rock and ice. Any personal experience and/or suggestions??

Thanks!

None with the Edelweiss, but have owned 3 sets of Beal Ice Lines. Love the way they handle, and the dry treatment (GoldenDry) is fantastic. Joe Palma

I've had the edelweiss oxygen first gen and they have been amazing. Got them 5 years ago, used them for a bunch of alpine climbs in CO, couple of extended trips to patagonia, and they are still going strong. Handle like a dream and they stay dry.

Sounds like you can't go wrong, get whichever is cheaper. Bent Gate is a site sponser and also has some of the best deals on Edelweiss so I'd check their price too.

The Sterling Photon Fusion is the bee's kneez. Metolius also makes a bad ass double rope but I forget the name. Ryan N
