Anyone have and use the Mission 75? Thoughts on it would be appreciated.

the mission 75 was reviewed by NZ's climbing magazine (the climber) a while back - not helpful I know, but they really liked it.

Yeah. It was a magazine on climbing. It was cool for me.

I have the Mission 75 and have used on it numerous mountaineering trips. I used it on an ascent of Mt. Rainier via Kautz Glacier this last summer. I really like the pack. Takes crampons and axes well. I love the ice clips that you can add as well as the loops on the hip belt. The back does quick and light very well. The hip belt is not very padded, and with heavy loads (greater than 65 lbs.) you will definitely notice some significant discomfort. Overall I really like it.

A buddy of mine snagged the 50L version for a recent ice and hiking trip in the white mtns. He was really happy with the pack, it was plenty comfortable and looks to be built to handle some descent abuse. And its got all the useful extras you want (esp the side zip access).

I'm looking at either the Mission 50 or Mission 75. Thanks
