The steepest section of Bath Rock, the south face has about seven or eight over-hanging sport climbs. Routes here are steep and pumpy. Approach the far, left side lines of the wall by doing a short, fourth-class scramble. Its best to "suit up" for these on the ground, before the climbing.

Getting There

Park in the large lot across from Bath Rock, cross the road and walk left (south) to the steepest section of the wall.

A short route that is very steep, especially for the City. Scramble up high to the first bolt. Easy climbing leads to an overhung wall with huge holds and large moves. After clipping the last bolt on the face, you run into the crux. Throw into a slippery under cling and attempt to mantle out the dihedral to the chains. Holds and feet are sharp without much polish. Super fun!...[more]   Browse More Classics in ID
