Description Suggest change

This is another unreliable climb that comes in late in the season. Banana is very close to Main Flow. If you are standing at the bottom of Main Flow and look up and to the right you will see banana.

Pitch 1: ( M5/6 150 ft) Climb up three tiers of ice until you reach the mixed section. Dry tool up to the next pillar of ice and climb the pillar up to a ledge where pitch 2 starts. You can by pass this pitch by climbing the first 2 pitches of Main Flow and then traversing right along a ledge.

Pitch 2: ( WI4 160 ft) Work up through the thin tiers to the top of the climb.

Decent: The trees on this climb are not very big so when you get to the top it is recommended that you either walk right, over to Main Gully, or left to Main Flow. If you are going to rap on Main Flow you have to do a double rope rappel to make it down the third pitch.

Location Suggest change

From the parking lot facing the cliff, walk left along the cliff, pass Main Gully and this will be the next climb. Banana is to the right of Main Flow.

Protection Suggest change

Short to Medium Ice Screws, Long runners to sling pillars and possibly some rock gear.
