Description The Classic route at Lac Sylvère, a very wide route in three sections with lots of variations. It's possible to set up a top-rope off of the trees using a 70m rope or 2 ropes tied together. Vilnious to the left would be the easiest way to get to the top of the cliff.
Location Follow the instructions to Lac Sylvère. Park on the north side of the road near the sugar shack drive. Hike up the drive and take the climbers trail on your left before reaching the shack. At the fork in the trail with a sign, take a left towards Baltique. The trail continues right up to the base of Baltique. Avoid taking the old climber's trail, it crosses through the maple grove and is actually steeper than the new ones. Route Start 46.35958,-74.05931
Protection Standard ice rack with runners. Spare slings and rap rings may be needed.
