Ballet Lessons

Description

Start crouched with a good left hand edge and mediocre right hand pinch. Head up out of the alcove with the use of some tricky and powerful beta, then negotiate an engaging and fun topout. A fantastic line, but, as with all new problems in SB, has a few holds of suspect nature. It's a great problem now, and hopefully will be a great problem in the future.

Location

If standing at the base of Serious as a Schoolgirl, face directly inland. Ballet Lessons goes out of an alcove straight up the middle of the face in the center of your view.

Protection

A few pads a spotter.

I broke part off the left handed crimp, but it was the far left side and didn't really affect the climb. Fell when it broke but was able to repeat it after.

Really a great climb though. Some good burl moves to a few delicate crimps and an awesome face finish.

This line will still go without the left crimp, but will likely be a bit harder. Didn't get to re-send this post-break last time, so I don't know exactly how much harder...
