Description

Badami is a small town in northern Karnataka. It has some fabulous sand stone cliffs with bolted routes ranging from 5.7's to Ganesha which is 5.14a. There is ample opportunity to bolt new routes. The only guidebook for the area is by Rohit Chauhan: climbinginindia.blogspot.in…

Getting There

Badami can be reached from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai or Pune by bus or train. There are direct trains to Badami from Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hubli or Solapur. KSRTC buses also ply to Badami and are relatively inexpensive.
