Open, with restrictions: Park on the street MORE INFO >>>

Description

Balancy moves up and left along a sloping ramp get one high enough to enable a reach for some hidden, but positive, holds as the wall steepens. Pull through this section (crux) and then wander upwards on blocky ledges to the anchors.

This climb is deceptive as it's much harder and better than it looks, despite the vegetation flourishing overhead.

Location

Located in the middle of the Slander Sector, between All Washed Up on the left and Defamation on the right.

Protection

7 bolts, ring anchors

This route seemed to consist of 25 feet of enjoyable face followed by 5.6 climbing the rest of the way to the anchors. Probably one to skip unless all the 10's in the areas further left are taken.

The only climbing on this route is through the first four bolts. A little awkward but just mildly fun enough not to score the route a bomb outright. Once you get past the fourth bolt you're off the face and practically walking to the anchors. Then you lower and get to watch you rope scrape against the top of the bulge where the fourth bolt ends.
