To help make this area easier to navigate via mountain project, the specific spots will be alphabetically grouped in the order you would walk to by coming up the main trail. The main trail from the parking lot leads to the Gill Roof first, and from there every other area continues on to the right.

Great sandstone bouldering, a few traditional leads, and great bouldery sport climbing are available. This is a perfect place for a day trip since it is so close to Carbondale. Camping is available at the Giant City Park Campgrounds.

Getting There

Suggest change
From Carbondale get onto Giant City Park Rd headed south. You will then enter Giant City Park. From there follow the signs to the Devils Stand Table parking lot. The trailhead is across the street from the parking lot. The approach is about 2 minutes to the shelter bluff with the first set of problems. There are several others areas if you follow the trail to the left
