BETA PHOTO: Dan's Delight 5.9, Training Pants 5.8 and Awful Wi...

Description

Hard to start, but if you have good offwidth technique this will be a nice 5.8. If you don't have great technique, this will be a strenuous lieback climb that feel's like 5.10+

Location

On the Great Flake, third crack from the left (or right).

Protection

Toprope anchor (2 bolts) accessible from the gully behind the Great Flake.

Beta:

Lie back the start, it is slightly overhanging and you have no good feet but their are good fist jams high. Once you get a few feet up its straightforward.

There is a large pod halfway up the route, about seven years ago there used to be a giant block the size of the entire pod. I'd climbed this route a half dozen times, then one day while I was leading it the massive block broke loose, slid 4 inches turning the offwidth into a handcrack and smashed my left arm. We came back later retrieved my #6 and trundled the block.
The block after it slid out of place.
