Just me...
I took my AVY 1 course last year. I finally got around to buying a beacon and shovel rather than borrowing friends.

I'd really like to get out and really do some snow study and rescue practice. Digging lots of pits, examining snow pack, practice beacon locating, digging out victims, etc. I feel this is something we all need to practice as much as possible...and I really want to meet more people that are into the safety as much as I'd like to be.

I'll be around all this week and and most of next week. There isn't a ton of snow quite yet...but there is enough to start practicing and do some tame BC riding.

lizard.
I'd be down to head out and dig some pits next weak. Looks like I have Mon and Tues off. There are some interesting conditions up the Indian Peaks/James Peak areas right now. If you're going up there exercise caution. Quite a bit of wind loading has been happening lately. MarkGriffin
