The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This name reeks of nostalgia. However, nostalgia ain't what it used to be, and this is a route to avoid. It is a hand crack, with a loose flake in the crack making the climbing unpleasant and the protection unreliable.
