Description

Arpa gorge is full of untapped potential. The summer offers a unique climbing experience boasting thousands of basalt columns of which only a handful have been climbed. Winter offers an unknown quantity of spectacular ice. The ice near Jermuk is rather easily accessible, the lover canyon holds harder to find and equally amazing ice.

Getting There

From the capitol city of Yerevan drive south on the M-2, 8.8 kilometers past the city of Vayk turn left 75 meters before crossing the river and before the H42 that leads into the city of Jermuk. Drive 4.5 km up the dirt/wannabe paved road
