Description
Markus Bock's contribution to Waldkopf is an incredibly bouldery 5.14c that he did 4 years before his ascent of Action Directe. However, looking at this route, you may wonder what the hold-up was.
Climb up super tiny edges and pockets on the nearly horizontal rock. Some big moves on slightly better holds get you to through the 2nd and 3rd bolts and up into the less steep section. If you can make it to the 4th bolt, getting to the 5th and to the top shouldn't be a problem because the degree of overhang is much less. However, the pump factor is huge and holding onto the small holds above may still prove a bit challenging.
