| I have done some guided hikes up to finger rock, and every time I am on the trail I pass by what looks like some awesome climbing. If you are familiar with the trail, the area I am talking about is three miles in from the trail head on the West (left) side of the canyon. More specifically it is about 3/4 to a mile from where the trail transitions from relatively flat terrain to pretty steep. Looks to be about 90-150 ft, filled with all sorts of cracks and features. The rock is a pretty obvious reddish color, and looks like people should be climbing on it. Aside from a hellacious approach, it looks like some amazing rock.
Was wondering if anyone knows about route development at this area. Next time I'm up there, I'll take a picture and post it in case my vague description isn't clear.

| If you think it is Thunderbird Wall, "Quest for Existence" is only one of MANY routes on it, mostly with aid sections. | |

| There are a few routes on trail right as you head up the canyon just before you reach the climbers trail that goes to Finger Rock. | |
