Well, it aint the prettiest but it'll get you there. Distance from I-10 to the turn south onto C.Stronhold road is about 8 miles or so. You'll run through a 25mph zone in there in the town of Dragoon; i suggest doing 25... it's only a mile or so and is worth it. A few miles past Dragoon, be ready to turn before a big orchard. Once you turn on it, you'll pass several rows of mature trees on the left then another group of younger trees then a big pile of compost with tires holding a tarp down over it. A few big dips in the road, another orchard on the right and some houses later you'll come up on Ironwood. Hang a right and a mile or so after it turns to dirt (stop drooling over the rocks and watch the road), you'll start seeing pull off roads for campgrounds to the right. The first one over the cattle guard takes up up to batline and zappa; keep going a couple more, make a right and start poking around in there.

Anyone got a flyer yet? I'd like to post something in the gyms up here (in Phx). If I don't see anything soon I'll just make something up based upon last years flyer.

A couple of add-ons to this; It's 11 miles from the I-10 exit to the right turn onto Cochise Stronghold road and there's a street sign on the left corner with both roads (Dragoon, C. Stronghold Rd) marked. It's 6 miles down Cochise Stronghold road down to the right turn on Ironwood. The turn into the main campground area has a FS sign marked 84A slightly off the main road. The sign will be straight ahead after you make the turn but it's visible from the main dirt road.

A Reminder to everyone....

I will supply the Beer, but you should bring your own water (plenty of it!) and other drinkable. s

Also, bring your own plates and cups. I will have dispensable ones, but I rather minimize the amount of junk produced.

And remember, 70-80's theme costumes... not too hard to do...

Luis,
Awesome design..one of the best in recent memory. What will be the cost of a shirt?

I'll know what is the final cost tomorrow.
But my estimate is somewhere from $15 to $20.
I'll keep it as low as I can after I do the math, considering all expenses of the party.

I'll have them next Thursday evening in R&R, and of course during the weekend. Both boys and girls tees will be available... so no girl need to get yet another t-shirt that will never use :)

Luis, is it true what you were telling me about the only girls' size available will be xx-small cut-off and will only be sold with written promissory notice that the buyer adorns said garment in the appropriate manner (see photo)?

I just got a bunch of MP.com stickers in the mail. If anyone wants one, just look for me around the party Saturday night. Cheers.

Big big kudos to Luis and his hard working helpers and all who attended for a great bean fest. I really loved the Spongebob Squarepants bumper car game. It was really funny to watch and despite a couple of hard knockdowns everyone walked away. Great T-shirts too.

Thanks Eric!
Your barefoot knotting abilities shined... quite impressive!

It was an honor and a pleasure for me to do this... BUT nothing would've nearly been this great without the help of those "hard working helpers" you mentioned, very especially Evelyn... but A LOT of people readily helped in many many ways. Thanks a million amigos...

Also, thanks everyone for coming and being so awesome!!!!

Though I must say, I expected a group of tough climbers like this to finish off all that beer! :) :) :)
