DescriptionThis area includes the east-facing formations found in Devils Canyon proper, including the main Glitter Box area as well as the Totem Pole and surrounding routes. Getting ThereDriving directions/parking: Follow driving directions from main Lower Devil's Canyon page. With high clearance 4wd you can park at the end of the road (the ant hill). This is also a popular primitive camping spot, as evidenced by the increasing number of fire pits. Without high clearance 4wd, park off the road as far as you are comfortable driving and hike the rest of the way in. Parts of the last segment of the road between the Hackberry parking pullout (just past the windmill) and the end of the road is the roughest of the entire drive in.
