BETA PHOTO: topo for the Insectarium

Description

Fun little chunk of stone with a great crack (for Mt. Lemmon)and several bolted routes.
Well worth the approach.
The center crack line had been done but we cleaned it up a bunch.
The routes are 50 feet long, and each has a decisively different character.
Routes get sun by about 11:00am.

Getting There

Park at the Green Mountain, Bug Spring trailhead just before General Hitchcock campground. The crag can be seen straight above the parking lot on the top of the ridge left of the trail.
Hike up the trail for 15 minutes to just below the ridge line. Just before the trail starts to head down into the canyon bust a left at an old gnarly juniper tree trunk.
Follow the odd cairn and faint trail up to the top of the ridge then contour east over to the crag. Allow 25 minutes for the hump.
One of everything from a 3 camalot to small stoppers is all the rack you'll need.
