Outcroppings

Description 

Outcroppings is comprised of three walls, each distinct in character and aptly named: Cave Crag, Incinerated Ridge Wall, and Tall Wall. This area was developed around 2007-2008 by Tony Lusk, Tony Horness, Andy Tretiakoff, and Dave Weeks.

The crags are generally south facing, but at this elevation should be climbable on all but the hottest days of summer. The rest of the year should be ideal assuming it's not snowed in. Rock quality is generally excellent with a few exceptions, particularly on Cave Crag. Climbs range in grade from about 5.6-5.10 and most everything is bolted.

Getting There 

Take Mt Lemmon highway to MP 20 to Organization Ridge road, park at Palisades Trailhead parking, walk 50' south to drainage on east side, go uphill to black stump, follow cairns east then south through the scout camp, to the top of the crags. ~25 minutes

The Classics
