Description

Actually a west facing and south facing wall on the most left side of a long expanse of cliffs seen north of Windy Ridge across Willow Canyon. There is a good picture of the landmark features east of the Iranian Wall in the Kerry guidebook. The climbing is predominantly trad here. Plan to build gear anchors and walk off. I wouldn't expect company. The south face features a series of left facing corners. You drop down and around a large fractured column to reach the west face. There are several other notable walls/formations in this area.

Getting There

From Nancy's Thumb Tower, we dropped down the hillside. (no trail) As you descend, look around for a drainage. Follow this drainage to Willow Creek. Head upstream through a narrow slot and continue. The first creek that feeds into Willow Creek will be on the left. Follow this uphill. When you reach a series of small waterfalls, there will be another smaller creek bed on the left. Follow this until it peters out. You should be able to see the Betty Wall just uphill. Angle up and left towards this wall. At the base, continue left to a square pinnacle called the Militant Students Pinnacle. Continue left along the base of the south facing wall past a gulley to a wall with a series of left facing corners. At least an hour for the approach/return.
