Description

The Bill Boulder (named for the graffiti "BILL P WAS HERE") houses the ultra-classic problem Flyswatter, a razor-sharp crimp nightmare used by John Sherman as the benchmark for V8 on his Vermin scale. To the left of Flyswatter is Dain's Bulge, a hard sloper problem (nary a crimp on it!) with a wicked mantel crux. Aside from these two are some decent problems from easy to pretty tough.

Getting There

Walk left from the Heart Cave until you see a nice-looking boulder sitting away from the cliffs in a small dip. Look for the namesake BILL graffiti. Approach time 6 minutes.

Really gorgeous line, brilliant movement. Mind the landing......[more]   Browse More Classics in AZ
