Bolting routes in Cochise is generally avoided, not because of any lack of possible lines, but because of ethics. Here is a portion of a 100-200 foot wall full of plates and gator skin. The extremely featured face is viewed from the End Pinnacle summit. Photo taken by Kelly Hartman.

Not sure which Stronghold you visited but there are more bolts on the Sheepshead than in the state of Arizona. Okay, a bit of an overstatement but bolting routes has a long history. There may be more bolts going in per route now but climbers have been drilling for a long time.
Very Nice Photo!

i have to agree with eric ... there are heavily bolted routes all over the stronghold now. some routes are up to 6 pitches long and protected entirely by bolts.

... but the photo is great!
