Where was this again?

It is also know as "Rhythm & Blues". On the (now closed) Troon Mountain.
And it was (is?) a beautiful, sustained crack. Maybe the best hand/large handcrack in Phoenix...
I always sigh when I spot it while climbing on Pinnacle Peak. Stupid developers and their "private" mountain.

seems like it wold be worth the penalty eh? Especially if you can flip 'em off as you get away.

It looks 5.9/5.10. Is there a walk off? An approach shoe solo and run seems like it'd work just fine if you can get down.

Phx rock rates it 10b. I say a full moon ascent is in order on this one. I'd love to go!

Is the a down climb or do you have to rap off? That looks like a really nice renegade solo.

R&B is 5.10-, thin hand (exit the lower flare) and cups (near the top)- and yes it overhangs the whole way:

Downclimb a 5.6 chimney or rap off a single bolt (to SW). Since Windy Walks is ringed by multi-mullion dollar homes in a gated subdivision best of luck on a commando ascent. It is 500-700 feet of boulder hopping up the east side to get to the summit. You can approach from any point of the base, but the shortest is the east side. R&B is the northernmost boulder on the skyline.

have fun, you might even get to meet Sheriff Joe!
