FA Applecore

The crux is above the first bolt. Traverse left to easier climbing on the bolt line.

Uphill and right of Softcore. Rap the route.

Bolts to anchors and chains at the top.

A well-protected nice 5.7 for a beginning leader. I was impressed how clean it was for a new route. The 5.7+ rating could be more accurate, but it felt like solid 5.7 to me. like a few other routes here, there's a bit of zig-zagging to follow the easiest route. At the very top, just below the chains, stem the crevice instead of going into it. The crevice might have more loose stuff.

Great warmup with the hardest move to the first bolt. After that, fun rock, but be careful as some of it is still coming off.
