Great quality compact sandstone as other walls in Longdong, "school gate appentice" is an 8 meter high rock on the other size across the access trail at "school gate".
"The appentice" looks very much like a huge tunnel wave instantly frozen into rock. Several fun but short overhanging crack climbs are available on the rock. Often times sees a lot of traffic full of beginners with top ropes in weekends.

Getting There 

From the northern parking lot and the elementary school, going east via access trail to "school gate".
"School gate appentice" is on the other side across the access trail at "school gate".
