Description

This area has a lot of small sized to highball boulders.
Furthermore, once reach the actual start of the area and slowly move up hill the boulders are all within view of each other...getting there can be a bit challenging though, esp if foliage/etc still hanging around.

Getting There

From main parking lot head up Red Trail and pass the first trail marker (same turn off spot for Ridgeline Area). Continue on Red Trail for another 50 meters or so and the trail goes over a small feeder stream and some fresh gravel is laid over this section of trail. Head off trail and follow the dry feeder creek uphill for 7 minutes or so.

Make sure to stay to the left as get further up from trail....otherwise you'll end up at Feeder Stream Boulders.

If you do end up at Feeder Stream Boulders by accident just head back downstream a bit until you meet confluence of two feeder creeks and head up the left one (if facing uphill). Continue just past Double Decker Boulders and you'll soon reach the first boulder of this area.

From this first boulder everything unfolds as you continue uphill/upstream.
