BETA PHOTO: Ant Line (5.11b). Splitter.

A classic finger jamming exercise. Very fun with an interesting ending.

This is the obvious, aesthetic finger crack on the rock up the river from the main area. There are top rope anchors on top, reachable from a gulley on the right side of the rock.

Cams up to 1 1/2".

Finger-sized cams up to 1", or stack a couple crash pads and call it a highball. Perfect fingers and tips.

Don Garrett free soloed this in the early 80s, before we had crash pads. Phew. Any wonder that the rest of us Placerville climbers were in awe of him?
