hey so i need some help ive read through most of the threads about shoes and ive slimmed down my choices to the following:
1. Acopa JBs
2. Evolv Astroman
3. Boreal Ballet Gold
4. five ten Anasazi hi-top

i currantly have the grandstones and love them im just looking for a shoe the creek and escalante canyon. could you guys give me your 2 cents on the shoes listed above. and yes i know i didnt list TC Pros because they dont fit my foot

for the creek I would pick none of those. Moccs or supermoccs, personally I like the extra padding and the heel cup in the supermoccs better.

Agree with Nick.

Just use the Grandstones for hand-wide size and moccs for thin.

I too prefer the supermoccs

for the creek, the cheapest shoe you can get your hands on that fit comfortably. That place eats shoes as a full time job.

I have the vcs high top... i climb cracks of all sizes in zion...love em size them a little bigger than you would think. The toe box provides support for edging but you can still climb thin crack...i second the super mocc as the shoe to send in for thin cracks.

If you can find JB's, definitely try them on. They size all over the map. I wear a 9 street and wear those in a 9.5, but I've heard people have had to size even larger than that.

However, I love them as well as pretty much all Acopas, but they're getting pretty hard if not impossible to anymore.

Stiff, good support, ankle protection. Best for hands and up, crackwise.

I wear 8.5 almost ALL other climbing shoe companies.

Acopas I wear 10.5.

They NEVER could figure out how to size those fuckers correctly...

Ordering online was a fucking NIGHTMARE!!!...
