Description Another Dimension is a route for those seeking a hard route with tricky route-finding, away from the major crack systems. There is a route description on rockclimbing.com (links at this site don't work at the route-page level). I can't tell for sure who to credit for the beta, but a marked image was taken by Dave Lussier. Mr. Lussier is a guide and often posts useful mountain condition reports @ ACMG. I'm not going to repeat the beta here. There are five 5.10 pitches, pitch two is the 5.10d. Bolted belay ends pitch four. The marked photo below is mine, only accurate enough to point the way for those who like to do their own route-finding. It should be mentioned that the Selkirk South guidebook by David Jones does not cover the Vahallas.
Location After passing the start of the South Ridge, the trail passes close to the base of the West Face (the "Beach"), then drops for a bit on the way to the Gimli-Nesilheim col. Don't follow the downhill section, head up and left to where you choose to start, 20 meters left of the more obvious cracks of "Lust".
Protection From Rockclimbing.com: "small to large cams (up to #4) double up on the bigger cams."

| Pitch 4 is the crux pitch and there are no bolted stations. Fun, clean, route that is worth doing....FYI, Im only a little biased. Also the route follows discontinious cracks right of the green line. JT |
