Android Up to behavior

I believe this has been a long standing bug. When I get to a route by other means than tree navigation, i.e. bookmark, tick, todo, etc. The up to button acts as a back button placing me back in the aformentioned page of bookmarks or what have you. It would be very nice to have it go up to that area.
