Description Suggest change

A collection of small cliffs, of Volcanic Tuff. The majority of the climbs face South.

It can get very hot in the summer sun. It makes a good spot for evening climbing.

The rock is similar, but not as good as Clark Canyon.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive North from Mammoth Lakes on the 395 for 7.5 miles. Shortly after a rest area turn right onto Owens River Road, follow this for 2 miles until you can turn Left into Big Springs Campground.

Follow this for 2.2 miles, until you can turn right onto 2S06. Follow this road .9 miles, and then turn left on an unmarked road.

Follow this for just over 1/2 mile. The first cliff (Mind Dart Rock) can be seen up on the right.
