Todd Gordon on the Alien Head

This climb ascends a small mini-spire formation on the hillside across and east of the Rattlesnake parking lot. It is located much lower on the hillside, and can be reached in about 10 min. from the car. The route in more or less on the south face, and protected by bolts.

From the Rattlesnake parking lot, hike east, across the Rattlesnake wash, and head over to some jumbled boulders low on the hillside, just left of the steep gully which leads east. On the largest boulder, you will see the route.
