Description Suggest change

This route in on the area called J-Wall, there is no topo in Phoenix Rock II.

I saw this crack from above and it's hard to see from anywhere below at the trail or otherwise. We were not sure about it until we hiked around and up to it. On closer inspection it was much easier then what it looked from afar.

Aaron and I thought it may be a new route so we called it Alfabeto - cause its as basic as the alphabet and Aaron was thinking about food as always...

Good intro trad crack, build top anchor for second. Walk off / down climb class 4 right.

Location Suggest change

On the J-wall located west of the Pasta Slab, near what looks like sliced bread boulders. It is a short crack on the South face. Start left traverse right. Traverse follows the sloping grade to the vertical crack.

Protection Suggest change

medium to large gear. Gear anchors. down climb right
