Description 

This wall has several quality routes from 5.9-5.12b on solid rock. This is a nice place to frequent in the winter, since the sun remains here until around 2:00 PM.

A short, fun route. Easy standing first clip. Start on some generous incut holds, moving left, making the second clip and up to the feature (a little cave with a large tooth that looks like the silhouette of a bat). Pull up on a solid match on the 'tooth' and reach for a juggy side pocket to the left for the clip. High feet will get you a decent hold on the right and higher feet will get you up to the a great ledge on the left - definitely the crux. "Mak Daddy (5.13d), Alcohol Wall, Socorro: One bolt of 5.7 leads to a crux bulge (six moves, at V10), to a no-hands rest, to 5.11a to the chains. Six bolts, 35 feet; unrepeated Fairfield route."

Does Shaken Not Stirred have bolts now? I could swear I climbed on something that looks like that line in the NM guide book but now has nice BIG bolts on it? Is this true? Or am I just off by a climb and instead did B52?

There are big shiny new bolts on "Bottoms Up" that replaced the rusty old SMC spinners, not aware of any nearby to the left of that but haven't been to Alcohol wall in 2-3 weeks. B-52 still had the very high first bolt.
