Description

Previously known as Agony Buttress, Primitive Buttress lies back in the woods and has a bunch of additions to it in the new 2012 Farris guidebook. Grades range from easy all the way to 5.11. It is well shaded when the trees have leaves on them and it doesn't see tons of traffic.

Getting There

Follow the paved trail north from the southern parking lot and take a left at the path by the outhouse. Once it takes you into the woods, take a right on the path and Agony Buttress will be on your left in about thirty seconds. Look for the giant roof on Death Scream.
