Advice needed on shoe rubber

Got a pair of 5.10 Heuco back in January and loving them, however the sole that covers the bottom of my right big toe has disintegrated leaving the lower portion of the rand exposed, 2 pinholes and a perpendicular cut at the edge of the rand says it would be foolish to keep climbing on them. The left shoe is in good shape however.

I thought I would get a few more months out of these because I managed to get 8 months out of the 5.10 rogues i was wearing last year. So I'm sending out my rogues to Positive resoles, and I'm wondering if there are any decent temporary fixes or bandaides I can put over the rand so I can keep climbing until I get my other pair back.

Use Freesole on the rand.

Ask Locker.

I found this thread: mountainproject.com/v/can-i…

and it had some good suggestions.

I think I'll grab some automotive tire patches and use one to cover the rand and see how they hold up. I'm not trying to get edging performance out of a repair, just something to keep the rand in good shape until I can get new soles put on them.

Freesole I think would be alright to preserve the rand, but there is so much sole missing under the toe it may defeat the purpose of a bandaide fix.

Locker those are the rogues, not the huecos. But if you think the rogues are too screwed then ill order some rubber and give it a go myself.

Im definitely an idiot for not sending them out months ago

My 2nd pair, the heucos have exposed thr bottom of the rand under my right big toe.

Basically i just want to cover the rand because i think its still usable.

Ill get a picture up, but im working right now

The rogues will def need a new rand and sole, im poking my finger inside the toebox and its not coming out the other side so i think they may live if i can get them to the right surgeon
