ADV Riders West coast!!

Hey there I'm planning some summer trips and wondering if there are any ADV riders in CA who know of/are selling an enduro bike for 2-3.5k. Thinking of flying down to LA beginning of August and buying a motorcycle instead of a return ticket. Anyone know of someone who might be interested in selling such a bike or partaking in an adventure? (Will be traveling with gear, rack, rope of course)
