Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

Sitting just down and left of the Love Nest is this rounded boulder with a small collection of problems from V-easy to V4 with Kids of the Black Hole (V0) and Welcome to Reality (V4) being the best.

The easiest descent is down a slot on the east side between the boulder and a much larger adjacent block.

Getting There

Hike east following the marked trail to the obvious south-facing formation of The Love Nest where you'll find this boulder just to the northwest of the Transplants Boulder.
