Saw a bunch of RMR, BCS, and park rangers rushing into Eldo last night as we were leaving. I was wondering if anyone had any info on what happened. It was probably around 7-7:30ish and there had to have been about 10-12 vehicles on scene so, It seemed like something serious.

In this case it was reports of calls for "Help" and for "Rescue", but likely a false alarm. Given the very windy conditions and stream noise, and the fact that the report came from non-climbers who were not familiar with climbing communications, we believe it was likely a misunderstanding. We performed a short search and talked to a lot of climbers, and found no corroborating information. I wish they all turned out this way...
