A young climber is sick and she needs our help

This is Makenna.

She is a competitive rock climber, a brownie girl scout, a fantastic big sister, and just a sweet little girl. A couple weeks ago she was diagnosed with leukemia and has a very long road ahead of her. This Friday night our gym, Canyons Rock Climbing in Frisco, TX is hosting a Halloween themed comp and late night climb with hopes of raising some money for her gofundme page. We hope everybody can make it out to Canyons, but more importantly we are asking for prayers and support for little Makenna. Ugh, so brutal. Poor little kid.

"Over the next three years, Makenna will have 18 spinal taps, numerous rounds of chemotherapy, steroids, and several bone marrow biopsies. The prognosis for A.L.L. is extremely good, but it will be a long road. She will have weekly clinic visits for chemo and spinal taps as well as several hospital stays."

I have known Makenna for a few years now and my kids climb with her on Team Texas. Such a sweet little girl who always has a smile on her face! Stay strong, fight hard, and climb on Makenna!
