I'm coming in to Seattle to visit family and for some other adventures and I'd like to take a few days to climb in Smith Rock and Trout Creek. I've never been to either area and I'd like to do some scouting, climb some classics, and meet some cool people. I've had luck finding partners on the Proj before so I figured I'd give it a shot. I'm psyched, experienced, and safe.
I'll have a rental car and I'll be arriving in the Portland area mid-morning on Tuesday, 6/23. I have to be back in Seattle by noon on Saturday, 6/27, so it's a mid-week trip. Looking to climb in the 5.10 (at Trout) or 5.11 (at Smith) range, happy to belay harder and climb easier, really just looking to get a feel for these areas I've heard so much about. I'll have a single rack (with doubles in finger sizes), a 60m rope, and plenty of draws.
As the title says, I'll also be around Washington and/or Squamish for the last week in July.
Send me a message here or at firstname.lastname at gmail.

Hi Kalil.
You're driving in the wrong direction! I live in Oregon and we simply have no climbing destinations. You're way, WAAAY better off driving to WA climbing destinations.
That being said if you find yourself within striking distance to Westfir, OR you should contact me as there is a nice trad crag here.
